So the Met Costume Institute Gala took place in New York last night. The theme was Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. Must say I am pretty disappointed that the attendees did not keep to the theme. Imagine what fun they could have had... But, as usual they kept to their boring old Hollywood style.

Here are the looks I thought were beautiful - though the word 'savage' doesn't exactly spring to mind.
