letter to australia

Dear Country Road

Thank you for putting up your new Spring 2011 collection. You sure know how to make a girl's day. I want the contrast sweat dress, the one shoulder dress, and the maxi skirt. I look forward to mid-August when the range will be in the shops.

Kind regards
Pampoenspook

i'm in trouble

Oh no. There's now a Country Road/Trenery online shop on Woolies' website. Not good. My wallet has gone into hiding... But it doesn't hurt to just take a look, right?

the long weekend

Note to self: Do not venture into Country Road section in Woolies when broke. Will only lead to a sulk. I really, really wanted to buy this top. Such soft fabric and I can never resist a good checked shirt. It looked great with the pale grey cords I also tried on. Oh well.

Oh a happier note: Happy Easter to all my Christian readers!

no, i am not wearing a pyjama top

Do you ever buy pieces of clothing that are meant for one thing but you use them for another? See, I bought a PJ top from Country Road the other day but I wear it during the day. Luckily, CR makes such great looking clothes that I don't think anyone will notice that it isn't serving its true purpose in life. Here it is:
I also bought these leggings which I think are pretty cool.

oh Country Road...

One of my favourite labels is Country Road, which is available at Woolworths. I love that it is an Australian brand, which means we get their spanking new collections almost immediately (us being in the Southern Hemisphere and all that). Here are a few items from the Autumn collection that I would like to add to my wardrobe:

Cool cape.
 Snuggly scarf.

Gisele boots! They were obviously made for me! (FYI: My name is Giselle)

I'd like to see my husband in this outfit. Minus the waistcoat of course.
